A word from our principal
There are many pressures on our children with school, work, friendship groups, families, and life in general. I hope the students see The Dance Company as their happy place, a place where they can be themselves, to leave all their other thoughts outside the studio doors and take a moment to be able to express themselves.
Whilst we may not be recognised as a team as you would with football or netball, training and playing a game each week, we also train together, problem solve, and work as a team to achieve a common goal.
Our students learn punctuality, they have a strong work ethic, they can problem solve on their feet, they have passion, and they are coachable, all lifelong skills learnt through dance.
Whilst most students won’t go on to have a career in dance, I hope that they utilise the skills that they have learnt at The Dance Company for the rest of their lives.
The Dance Company is a Child Safe Organisation.
All teachers and staff have current Working With Children Checks and First Aid Certificates.
